- Fun Fact: loves to run!
- "I really got interested in Human Rights after a study abroad experience in Cape Town, South Africa, where I was immersed in a culture with a deep and recent history of human rights violations, and courageous people and groups wanting to challenge that. Through my human rights based classes and internship, I was surprised to learn how many human rights issues there are right at home in our own country. Now, being back at Uconn, I want to continue to learn more about human rights issues affecting our world and our own community, as well as help educate others on these issues and collectively make changes."
- Junior History Major; Newtown, CT
- Fun Fact: has over 40 cousins.
- "A family friend, Dicki Chhoyang, is head of the Department of Information and International Relations for Central Tibetan Administration. Dicki's work sparked my interest in two Human Rights groups: Students for a Free Tibet and The Free Tibet movement."
